Pain...

There is a lingering pain in my heart.

Not the pain that comes from physical over-exertion.

But more of the type that comes from a sense of emptiness, a sense of lost.

A sense of not knowing what to do.

Things are definitely not going to be the same ever again, even if we are ever going to start afresh.

I know deep down that we mean a lot to each other, and we definitely do care for each other.

But sometimes things just doesn't seem to, just doesn't want to work out the way that we want them to.

It hurts me ever so, and I know it has the same effect on her as well.

I really want to make it work again, to rekindle that kind of feeling that was ever so abundant back in the past.

The pain lingers on.

The answer may just be there for the taking, but I don't know if I am in the right frame of mind to ever accept it and suck it up.

I need a break, a long, long break, away from work, from family and friends, to go off somewhere to reflect and space out.

After French, now German...??

Something that happens once every 4 years is here yet again.

An event that makes many zombie-like as they troop off to work in the morning, as if they are on drugs or something, brought on by keeping late nights with their eyes glued to the goggle box, cheering on their own group of 11 men(sometimes reduced to 10 or even 9...)as they run after a specially-designed ball , incorporated with aerodynamic features to guarantee that it will find its way to the back of a net strung between 2 posts with the minimum of effort, on an impeccably-maintained grass pitch, some with checkerboard designs.

And also jeering the other group of 11 men and occasionally the remaining 3 men in either black, green, red or yellow, with one of them having no qualms about flashing either a yellow or a red card at anyone of these 22 men should they run foul of the laws of the game.

Yes, it's soccer's World Cup.

Something that captures the heart and imagination of many around the globe, with its potential for surprises and heart-aches, on and off the pitch.

Was hoping for some surprises and upsets but alas, at this point in time, most of the games have more or less progressed according to the form books.

No fun at all.

Well, let's hope for the unexpected as the tournament unfolds.

Who would you tip to lift the trophy on July 9?

Let's do French...

This is such a beauty.

French elegance and chic at its best.

The elegant curves, coupled with its powerful engine, giving you a sense of power once behind the wheel, like no other.

Man, I love this car.

But I doubt I can afford it, at least at this point in my life.
