WORK?

Things are starting to come in at work these days.

Was saddled with typing out minutes for 5 different discussions for a good part of last week and I am sure there will be many more to come for the next couple of months.

Sometimes there are just so many secondary responsibilities that we have to handle on top of what we are actually supposed to do.

And the thing is, the workload of the latter doesn't really amount to something substantial most of the time.

I see some of my peers buried amongst piles of paperwork that they are not actually trained to do, but somehow forced to do simply because they have been arrowed to.

It's somehow kind of sad thinking of this fact.

Well, I know for sure that work is an important part of our lives, but it's not everything.

There are just so many things outside of your office, outside of your meeting room and outside of your cubicle to look forward to and be really happy about.

Going to get ready my roller blades this weekend for some fun with her.

Travelling through time...

Have you ever thought of how it would be like to travel through time?

Of going back to the past or fast-forwarding to the future?

Or meeting your own self from the past or the future in the present?

Of being aware that you have the means to change the course of history, of having the power to right things that you thought were wrong, of meeting individuals who no longer exist in the present day and age?

Bizarre?

Or just plain cool?

What if your loved one had this time-travelling ability that he or she has absolutely no control over?

Would you still want to be with him or her?

Despite being aware of the fact that your loved one may just disappear like thin air out of the blue into another day and age, not knowing when he or she will ever be back.

And thinking, unwittingly of the worst that may happen while your loved one is trapped in an era that you knew only existed in your history books or in some futuristic science fiction novel...
